July Meeting

After a "short summer break" we are back to our meeting schedule.  Lindy hosted, thanks!

We discussed "Crow" by Barbara Wright which was historical fiction regarding the killing of numerous Blacks in late 1890's in Wilmington, NC.  It was not a Black uprising but a planned slaughter of Blacks and especially those in power at that time.  We all enjoyed the book.

We will be meeting August 27 at Vilma's for the next meeting.

The book assigned for our August read is "Wings of a Flying Tiger" by Iris Yang.  She is the person Lindy met on her Ireland trip.
