We all really liked this month's book - The Book of Longings. We found it interesting and informative about the life and timeline of events concerning Jesus’ time on earth. We were curious if there was an actual Tabitha in the Bible so we looked it up and indeed there was. There was much discussion about the oppression of women and their nonexistent rights.
The August read is "The Woman They Could Not Silence" by Kate Moore.
The next meeting is at Jeans and she
gave us an invitation to come early and swim.
