May Meeting

 Lindy had a full house for the May meeting!   

 

In addition to the wine, she served a yummy blueberry crisp with her homegrown blueberries.

This month's book, West With Giraffes, was well liked.  Discussion topics were varied - hurricane's,  feelings about present-day zoos and Red's marriage.

Several books have been added to the "Also Read" link so check them out if you're looking for something else to read.

Jean will host the June and July meetings so that we can enjoy her pool.

Since there was a bit of a mix-up about the book for June.....Jean will pick up a new kit from the library and let everyone know about availability.  I'll edit the blog once it's determined. 

 

April Meeting

 Linda hosted the April meeting - this month's book was Theo of Golden by  Allen Levi.

Lindy will host next month's meeting.  She has picked a local author - "Chicken Bridge Road" by Clyde Jeanette Shore.  She will try to pick up copies from the library as this is a "kit".  She'll let everyone know.

January Meeting

 Weather worries caused the meeting to be rescheduled....brave ladies made it to Vilma's house.

 Condolences to MJ who lost her father just a few days before.

 

Since there are many who are traveling in February, it was decided that we'd take a break....our next meeting will be March 24th.  Sharon will be hosting.  

Vilma has chosen Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan for next months book.  The copies of the book from the library are at Sharon's house for pickup.
